Information for patients and clinics
At any given time over 10,000 vials of donor sperm are available at The London Women’s Clinic for reliable dispatch to licensed fertility clinics throughout the UK and abroad. The supply comes from donors of a wide range of ethnic, educational and social backgrounds. Each vial guarantees a minimum of 10 million motile sperm/ml.
Effective 1 April 2005, the HFEA has ruled that only sperm from identifiable donors may be used. In anticipation of this important legal requirement, we have been recruiting donors since 2005 who consent to this legal requirement, and patients and clinics will find no interruption to their service.
Our donor bank also supports our own patients undergoing treatment, allowing us to offer them the widest choice available anywhere in the UK.
